This is the most exquisite Sunstone we have ever seen; it is truly sublime. Most of us are familiar with the more common variety of sunstone which is more opaque and deeper colored with glittery sparks, but this is exceptional stuff here. In Oregon Sunstone the color is more delicate and transparent and though there are still some subtle glitter effects (caused by copper platelets) stones have more of an iridescent coppery sheen or "schiller" in common with other members of the feldspar family (labradorite and moonstone).

The beads in this lot range from about 5-13mm wide by 6.7-12.7mm long; they weigh approximately 23 carats
