Vesuvianite is also known as Idocrase. The stones are translucent with visible inclusions and a rich olive green color. We would not recommend this stone if you are looking for clear and immaculate beads, but they are perfect for those needing a rich and velvety mossy/olive green gem. The faceted flat Pear Briolettes range in size from about 4.4-6mm wide by 7.7-9mm long. The strand has 27 beads weighing approximately 40.8 net carats.
