A clear colorless variety of quartz, Rock Crystal (also known as crystal quartz) is a natural stone mined from the earth. This AAA Rock Crystal is clear and pristine and sparkling like eternal ice. It is a nice (and less expensive) alternative to White Topaz. These stones are cut into a diamond shape, with checker cut faceting and are drilled across the top so that they hang like briolettes. This cut is sometimes also described as a cushion cut, or checker cut briolette.
The stones in this lot range in size from about 12-13mm measured across the width of the diamond. If you are purchasing more than one, let us know if you need matched pairs or have other design requirements.
