Scapolite is a relatively lesser known gem, but once you see it, you are a fan for life. It has incredible sparkle and this Scapolite is a lovely pale yellow color. A customer once described these as 'like captured moonlight'. There may be some subtle natural color variation from stone to stone. An occasional stone may have a tiny hairline inclusion, but overall the stones are very clean and have excellent clarity. The spectacular cut and the micro-faceting enhances the brilliance of these gems. These beads are quite large and plump and would make nice focal beads for more delicate scales, they are also the perfect for earrings. They measure about 11-12mm wide by 11-13mm long.
