This listing is for the exact set of 2 AAA Oregon Sunstone Faceted Nugget Focal Beads that you see in the photos. This is the most exquisite Sunstone we have ever seen; it is truly sublime. Most of us are familiar with the more common variety of sunstone which is more opaque and deeper colored with glittery sparks, but this is exceptional stuff here. In Oregon Sunstone the color is more delicate and transparent and though there are still some subtle glitter effects (caused by reflections from hematite or geothite platelets) stones have more of an iridescent coppery sheen or "schiller" in common with other members of the feldspar family (labradorite and moonstone).
Overall the stones are relatively clean, but there are some inclusions, we still feel that they merit AAA status because of the larger size, beautiful colors and nice schiller. The stones in this set range in size from about 9.2x15.7-9x17.6mm (width at widest point by length) The stones weigh about 11.5 carats. Though one of the stones is a tad longer, they still could make a stunning pair of earrings.
