Andalusite is a stone for those who revel in the intricate and subtle beauty of nature. The colors range from pinky taupes, to golden browns to mossy greens. It is a pleochroic stone which means that it will display different colors when viewed in different directions. At first glance the stone may look brownish green, but if you turn it you may notice a glimmering rosy glow. Reminiscent of a walk through a mossy forest with beams of light glowing through turning leaves, as if through stained glass.
The faceted rondelles are about 4.5-5mm in diameter and weigh 77 net carats. This strand is 16 inches long.
