Ametrine is a mixture of Amethyst and Citrine in the same stone, the blending of colors gives this gem a warm glow. These gems are cut into geometric shapes. Most are kind of trapezoid shaped, but there also some octogons and triangles. These stones have a clean and modern look. Because there is some variation in shape, it is a little difficult to give exact dimensions-- they are about 7mm-10mm wide (at widest point) by 10-12mm long. The strand is a little over 10 inches long and has 43 beads, and weighs approximately 138 net carats.  |
